Dr. Khan, Cardiologist, The Cardiovascular Center

A cardiovascular specialist, peripheral arterial disease (PAD) specialist, and a clinical hypertension specialist, was awarded a full academic United Nations Scholarship to pursue a career in medicine at the esteemed University of Alexandria in Egypt, where he graduated in 1983.
He completed his internship and residency at State University of New York, Health Science Center in Brooklyn, New York and served as attending physician in Emergency and Internal Medicine at San Joaquin General Hospital in Stockton, California.Dr. Khan founded the Heart and Vascular Institute at Opelpusas General Health System. In 2005 Khan accepted the postion as Medical Director, Cardiovascular Division at Shasta Regional Medical Center and relocated to California, where he currently practices.

Dr. Coronado, Cardiologist, Coronado Vein Center

Dr. Robert Coronado, founder of the Coronado Vein Center, is an interventional cardiologist and vascular specialist that is recognized as an enlightened leader in the field of venous insufficiency and the treatment of varicose veins. Dr. Coronado lectures at conferences both nationally and internationally, and has been acknowledged by the International Association of Cardiologists as one of the leading physicians in the world, in the treatment of venous disease. Most recently, Dr. Coronado co-founded the American Society of Cardiovascular Phlebology and maintains his role as vice president as well as an elected member on the Board of Directors for the California chapter of the American College of Cardiology.
