Shasta Regional Medical Center is a 226-bed acute care hospital serving Northern California communities since 1945. Ranked by IBM Watson Health as a 100 Top Hospital in the U.S. for three years in a row (2013-2015) and chosen as a 50 Top Cardiovascular Hospital in the Nation three times (2013, 2015, 2019) by IBM Watson Health, Shasta Regional Medical Center provides quality healthcare with compassion. Services offered include emergency medicine, heart care and cardiology services, neurology, orthopedics and behavioral health services. Outpatient support is also offered at our Diabetes Care Center, Wound Care Center, and Health & Wellness Center.


Shasta Regional Medical Center is fully accredited by The Joint Commission, the organization that sets the standards for care across the United States and we are licensed by the state of California. We are certified by the Joint Commission as an advanced Primary Stroke Center, the first in the North State to receive this designation. And we received our "Get with the Guidelines" Gold Performance Achievement Award from the American Heart Association and American Stroke Association. Our Vascular Ultrasound Lab is the only lab north of Sacramento to be accredited by the Intersocietal Commission for the Accreditation of Vascular Laboratories, and our Diabetes Care Management program is certified by The American Diabetes Association.
