Redding, CA, January 3, 2017 — Shasta Regional Medical Center annual
Go Redding Luncheon on Friday, Feb. 3 at the Holiday Inn, and event that
encourages the community to Love Your Heart and make it a goal to fight
against America’s #1 killer — heart disease.
This year’s keynote speaker is Dan Thurmon, a dynamic speaker, author,
performer and fitness advocate. He is president of Motivation Works, Inc.
and author of two books, most recently, Off Balance On Purpose. Dan has
delivered thousands of presentations worldwide for corporations, associations,
and educational institutions and a recognized expert in delivering peak
performance on stage and in the workplace. He resides with his family
in the Atlanta area.
Cardiovascular disease kills more women than men each year, and is the
#1 killer of women, taking the life of 1 in 3 women each year. That means
women are dying at the rate of one per minute, because they don’t
know the seriousness of heart disease.
The Go Redding Luncheon primary goal is to educate women of all ages about
heart disease, their risks, and symptoms as well motivate healthy changes
in their lives, and the ones they love.
This year’s luncheon is sold and will stream live on Shasta Regional
Medical Center’s Facebook page and will also be able for viewing
later on ShastaRegional.com.
