Emergency Services

What to Expect

The first thing to do when you arrive at our 24-hour emergency room service department at Shasta Regional Medical Center is complete registration. If the patient cannot register himself or herself, an accompanying party may be asked to help provide information. After registration, a registered triage nurse will provide an initial evaluation of the patient and decide the urgency of the situation.

Per the Health Order, indoor visitors must show proof of vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test result.
